How do pro teams not realize that Waylays capabilities as a Solo Duelist is worse than any other dive Duelist. I’ve never been above Silver yet realized before and still do that she should only ever if be used as a Secondary Duelist. Yet teams (For granted only in China) are trying to push the narrative of this shit agent. All Gamers just got shit on 13-1 with Waylay, and XLG who were one of my picks to make it to Toronto decide to run Waylay with barely any ideas on Icebox and Fracture, with any other duelist they would have beat BLG, I digress. She has nothing to help herself on the Dive. It’s statistically better to dive with Jett so why not run her instead, or have a double dive to give Waylay something to work with. Anyone with a brain can see she is dogshit,shes legit only better than like phoenix and reyna out of all the duelists,the dash is useless for anything other than entrying on doing some early round set play on ct side,the stun is okay but very situational,and the tp ability is basically the only consistent part of her kit u can utilize in most situtations

True but a lot of the top duelist are baiters anyways so Waylay is probably effective in their hands so they can pretend to be entrying whilst in reality are just baiting their team
I mean yes you’re right from the perspective of the waylay itself but not from the perspective of the teammates. Waylay can’t consistently capitalize off her own entries as a solo duelist but her teammates can via dash, slow, recall combos. This is how G2 originally used her as the first successful solo waylay team and how many Corrode teams like NRG and MIBR operate with her
