From a nonamer team (+cNed from nolpenki) with a surprising run in the qualifier for masters 1, where a lot people not even expected them to get into the main event, to the very surprising masters 1 title. And at the end of the year they are the valorant Champions in a tournament where also not many expected them to succeed.

I remember there was a reddit post about cNed in his nolpenki days and I watched one of their games, instantly knew that dude was a world class talent, happy for him.

Crazy team back then when you think where everyone of them is now:

zeek - world champ
Vakk - vitality
JESMUND - ex Vitality, now kova
Aron - sadly retired :(

Acend is not cNed + Nolpenki. Nolpenki disbanded and cNed started the roster with the boys and Kolda, then signed by RYE thanks to Kolda (as that was his PUBG organization).

Then G2 tried to do with Acend the same they did with Heretics and give them what they though was a washed player for the one they wanted. And I remember the presentation twit of the team was “You’re gonna regret this one Carlos”

RYE changed their name to Acend cuz RYE is a betting app and that was against Riots policies

I know that the ACE boys came from different teams, i meant that the other players were more or less unknown while cNed already had made a name for himself in first strike with nolpenki.

Well, yeah Kiles and Kolda were in MRS which is more famous as an org I get you point. I also remember when they were DEA and haven’t been signed yet, they played against the Spanish roster of Giants and lost cuz Giants used a bugged killjoy molly and then defeated them in lower bracket
