The whole tournament Something and Invy are literally just one tricking yoru and fade
something was best player in the world in champs groups and stage 2: while playing sova and yoru.
that means a lot
Best player in champs groups is a bit misleading considering he was playing against the weakest opponents out of any team in champs groups
prx played xlg and gx...
both of those teams made play-offs and gx were exceptionally good.
and in stage 2 prx went 4-1 against talon, t1, boom and dfm.
t1 and talon made runs with t1 top 4 and talon top 3.
defeating rrq in grand finals when rrq are supposed to be the "regional merchants"
smth had 400+ rounds and 1.23 rating... the next best was jingg at 1.14.
the difference was pretty staggering.
in champs groups smth had 1.39 rating
second best was aspas at 1.3
Both those teams made play-offs
Misinformation: only GX made playoffs, XLG didn't
I specifically said Champs Groups I DIDNT TALK ABOUT STAGE 2. It's only natural that you'd be able to farm higher rating when playing vs weaker opponents
oh mb. yeah xlg didn't i kinda forgot that and thought sentinels v xlg was advancement game.
my point still stands though. he is the best yoru in the world and that includes jawg.
plus combining that with his awping skills is another plus point that players like zekken, oxy, artzin don't try at all.
i think they're saving strats. Invy is a flex player just like forsaken and can play a WIDE variety of agents
With the amount of value something has OP’ing and just been an aggro nuisance with a get out of jail free card + Invy’s fade util (constant tagging with the eyes and comfort)… there’s no reason for them to not one trick 2 of the most powerful agents rn
