if they want people to take valorant seriously then stop with this bullshit 4 month off season and 3 international events a year

why

the lenght of the season is perfect now, making it longer won't change how serious people are or whatever

its literally 3 months and 4 events now you got it backwards

issues that have to be addressed before this:

• franchising makes this hard since there is little incentive for these organization to want it as much as cs orgs because since there is no global ranking that can determine spots, so long as they remain stable, they will always have a spot and never be in danger of being relegated
• cs is the way it is because other organizations host events that are not valve events (intel, blast, etc.) but all of riot’s events are, well, riot events; there need to be other companies willing to make massive tournaments with great production for the valorant scene that can also be backed by riot
• valorant as a game is difficult to get a grasp on due to how often the meta changes, which isn’t a problem for cs because a lot of shit stays the same for several years having an offseason makes sense for val specifically because you need to be able to make time for rito to make changes to the game
