They legalized it last year (danke ampel)
But the general consensus is still being hesitant about weed.
There is too much of an emphasis on weed in this case. I smoke very rarely while i was drinking myself to death...
Societal acceptance is the only reason why alcohol isnt illegal. There is this quote from tom holland of all people who said something along the lines "if alcohol didnt exist and someone would invent it right now it would be as illegal as coke and heroin"
