I like basketball and only watch the World Cup because supporting your country is nice, but I'd rather watch the Brooklyn Nets get to the NBA Finals than a random soccer game where Brazil gets eliminated by Belgium 2x1

I agree, casuals are people who know nothing about the game, but companies want to make the game more fun for them while ruining the experience for ranked players, making 70% of the playerbase drop the game because it doesn't feel the same anymore
and that's exactly what Valorant has been doing, but they don't even want it to be fun atp
To some extent I can see it like with valorant it's not that extreme but things like fortnite zero build should not exist it really is not that hard to build
There are good ways to do it but there are horrific ways too
Actually now that I think about it modern fortnite just does this all the time and it's far too much
