It’s so easy to hit one taps in CS2

I haven’t played CS since 2022, and when I returned yesterday I was hitting some insane one-tap shots, it was crazy. The movement isn’t as smooth or as responsive as Valorant, but those AK headshots are crispy.

Does Valorant aim actually translate to CS2? I also noticed that CS2 players spray a lot and ‘whiff’ more compared to Valorant, where you really need to stop and tap (without counter-strafing, of course). Thoughts?

Ofc Valorant aim translates to cs2 and vice versa. Also cs2 players don’t “whiff” more necessarily, hitboxes are just smaller in cs than in Valorant and there’s also more sources of inaccuracy.

If you spray more than 5 bullets in Val and you still haven’t killed the guy then that’s pretty much a whiff in Valorant standards no? In CS2 even in pro play that I saw recently, people would even spray half ak mag just to kill 1 guy. I mean maybe I’m not used to CS anymore but val tends to be a lot cleaner gun play

Well TTK is faster in Valorant than cs2, that’s why. It’s nothing to do with whiffing or not. Biggest difference is literally just the amount of bullet tagging. If you get shot in Valorant you pretty much can’t move/strafe anymore unlike in CS. It’s easier to confirm a kill in valorant for that reason
