The Guard core is officially done, we will see who they pick up. I felt like this roster deserved one more year to try and win one, at least give them 1 more stage.
I understand roster changes but I don't see who's left that doesn’t already have a team that is better then JonahP. Hopeful for what's next but hesitant about this one.
I hope he finds a team, he deserves tier 1.
The worst part of this decision is definitely the timing of it and not the act of kicking Jonah itself, I’m sure teams like 100T and C9 would’ve looked at him closely had he been kicked earlier
If someone at C9 had a functioning brain, they would trial Jonah to replace Xeppa asap. There's no reason for Xeppa to play on this roster for as long as he did without achieving anything.
Yeah I mean c9 is known to make late off season changes so it’s still entirely possible for that to happen. The only reason people think it’s out of question is cuz Xeppaa is the one in question
This man has survived multiple roster changes and unless he has some sort of epstein file on c9 owners there's no logical reasoning for him to be in the roster at this point.
Yeah I'm curious what the explanation is for why they waited so long. If babybay or demon1 are taking his spot then is it even a upgrade? Is it seven? Not sure who is left that they would want.
Nah lol, even tho my name is JonahPork I’m actually just Guard/G2/trent fan. If Trent left I’d support whatever team he joined as my main team probably, but I always loosely support former G2/Guard players (I supported T1, LEV, and C9 when they had Saya, tex, and neT respectively)
They already have leaf so that's not the reason. Unless they could sign forsaken, zekken or Chron there was no reason to replace Jonah

As much as I love Valyn he is not the only Guard core. But I do think he thrives with any team they build around him.
