Without affiliate teams, we likely wouldn't have seen ara & Flickless promote to GX & get top 8 in Champs.
okay but that just highlights how bad everyone is at scouting considering how good both of them were if they needed to be completely affiliated with gx in order to get a spot
Been affiliated with gx meant it was easier for them to tryout for gx at t1 level and if it didn’t workout they wouldn’t lose their spot on ucam if gx decided to no keep them…
With how the meta of the game was this year ara and flickless would probably have not gotten a spot on a lot of teams this year…
Flickless is a very good flash init and viper flex while ara plays your default duelist pool… yoru killed both
I guess that's true too but if we're being honest most teams don't scout with the meta in mind so I not sure how important it would have been towards their chances
