The best teams don’t hire (actually good) coaches

it's not that, it's that Europe has over 1 billion people while a has like 300 mil or something. this was always bound to happen

Seriously cant judge players tho, they must have bad games every now and then, and who knows what happens behind the scene, coach, manager and whatnot. "choking" tho is something mental, you gotta win the mental battle even before doing calls / pulling triggers

Realistically, there aren't any or any that know anything.

hmmm yes lets fire the guy who took us to the finals of our first ever international tournament and get a guy who has literally 0 achievements and has doomed every team he has gone to

North America has 580 million and Europe has 746. They just have more countries instead of Canada and US which are massive in terms of land compared to them.

ofc u mean million, and I was off by quite a bit for Europe. but Mexico isn't included in NA even though it should. which makes it only 357 million which compared to 746 is a big difference don't u think?

Population doesn't mean shit
CIS has 240 (a bit over 200 mil if you only count ukraine russia and Kazakhstan) million people and they shit on everyone in CS. Sweden and Poland dominated the early days of valorant (cs go Teams used to be country based). Denmark has what 11 million people? And they dominate CS. Look at South Korea dominating in league.

The Danish PM even went to a CS tournament, or Putin congratulating Team Spirit. Imagine the US President congratulating C9 on their major win, that would've never happened in a million years.
Only if esports were more popular here

Thanks for catching my error. I did mean million. And Mexico is included in that list. Canada has a population of 38 mil. US is around 330m. Mexico I believe is in the 100s and count all the Caribbean countries as well.

Yeah I don’t know if it will ever. I love my sports. Big baseball and hockey guy and I know like every team in the big four sports in NA goto the White House and shit to celebrate. Quite cool.

They just need to practice more tbh. The problem isn’t there isn’t a lot of practice opportunities in NA like there is in EU

Population doesnt matter, its the amount of players that play the game and the infrastructure available to these players matter.

I think the NA teams tilt really easy allowing comebacks. A lot of those games should have been done with. Ace and Gambit have/had similar issues.

I'm not thinking about it like per country. I'm just saying that way more people live in Europe so they are a higher chance of better players entering the tourney. so unless a make a very good team to represent them Europe will usually have a better tournament.
