Probably will be like EMEA next year.

LATAM South, North and Brazil will play Qualifiers separately and Challengers Playoffs together in a lan event.
EMEA does this in EU, TR, CIS and Northern Africa

Maybe KR, Japan, South Asia and OCE do the same and merge with SEA to create a greater Region: APAC.

Last chance SA and APAC were like this (OCE "was" in NA Last Chance tho), so i think it's not impossible to happen.

KR, JP merging with SEA is a bit hard. SA + SEA most likely but adding east asian regions might be a bit tough for riot to make it happen.

I don't think so. Just do the Chall playoffs together in LAN event. This will happen like 2 times a year + Last chance APAC

3 for NA, 3 EMEA, 3 SA and 3 APAC in Champions + 1 for each region in last chance

APAC gets 6 slots in Masters as of now, and that's without China, India and Oceania competing

This is no pizza slice that everyone gets an equal portion, you've to distribute proportionally according to the playerbase count and the number of competitive teams. NA getting 3 slots is already generous enough, 4 is absolutely stupid given their current performance.

Better way to divide APAC would be
APAC North = CN, JP, KR
APAC SOUTH = OCE+ South Asia
SEA (sea separate from the other two cause they're by far the biggest region, any more teams and it's gonna be chaotic)

Local qualifiers and then a LAN at some place. I don't see any other option for OCE and south Asia tbh. Merging them with SEA would make it the most bloated qualifier

Did you saw APAC last chance? it was already "bloated" with 12 teams (10 bcz China dropped 2 spots).

Maybe 2 KR, 2 JP, 2 CN, 2 SA, 4 SEA 2 OCE

16 teams in a lan is pretty reasonable

It's better to keep them separate then, as smaller subregions (like how LATAM sends only a single team to Masters)

Fellas you have any idea how SEA quals work? There was a qualifier between 7 different countries, they picked i think around 16 teams from there not sure. You wanna add more load to this?

No, bro. Think with me:

SEA

Chall 1 and 2: For each country, like it already happens. The champions of Chall 2 qualifies for Chall 3
Chall 3: 8 teams from those countries
Chall Playoffs: 2 KR, 2 JP, 2 CN, 2 SA, 4 SEA 2 OCE

Would be the same amount of tournaments as this year

I don't really know how masters are going to happen but i think for lcq sa,kr,jp,cn,sea and aus Australia is barely getting any representation and I think they should be playing in APAC since that's how it's been in most eSports and also in football
