Instead of the ascended teams requiring to reach champs and if not they fight it out in ascension again , why dont the bottom 2 teams fight it out in ascension with the other teams ????

because franchised teams have signed a contract with riot to stay in the league till 2027 and that cannot be changed (if I understood your suggestion correctly)

Kinda, because if Riot wants RA to sneak in, they could just say that one org messed up and they are opening application. Anyway, if RA runs it back next year, they can defo make it for 2027

you can't "just say that an org messed up" you need concrete proof than they breached the contract, which isn't easy

I know the rule and the contract but this does not make sense imo like nongshim redforce consistently finished 5th - 6th in pacific , boom at one point was the best team in the league then they choked under the pressure in playoffs then went back to shit again . Like imo it makes more sense for GE and TS fight for ascension instead of boom and nongshim cuz they finished last in the standings .
