just wondering what vlr users think about NFTS. are there any braindead people that actually support it and buy it and think it;s the future?

IMO, I think it's just stupid and it's just another way for the capitalists to continue generating wealth and capital by tricking and manipulating stupid people

They're dumb and the industry is a scam

People pays money for more useless things (beanie babies, bath water, onlyfans p0rn, etc.) I guess it's something people can make money on as long as the seller can convince a group of people that NFTs are valuable. The market will determine its value and will eventually regulate itself as usual

The main idea was to support Digital artist which turned into somehow about collective limited tokens ( jpegs basically ). Tbh NFTs without utilities are just pump and dump scams. I'm not really against them all, the only thing I don't like is the gas fees hence the POW but that's the more secure method as of now so yeah.

NFTs are pretty cool and the technology of digital ownership has some really interesting uses, like buying a ticket or in-game content

but buying monkey pictures for 100k is the stupidest shit ive ever seen and i cant wait until the bubble explodes and the value drops to 1 for that terrible art

no but i think it is going to be one of the 'future' along with metaverse and shit and ive learned from previous mistakes which was not buying bitcoins when i found out about its existence
also NFTs are not even that risky so dont be so conservative i think its safe to try

edit: plus this nfts don't even have the physical copy so their only proof they own is BlOcKcHaIn and nft could have more uses than selling stupid art which is sad since i also saw a twitter account trying to make money of nft bs for helping orang utans when nft cause damage to the enviroment

I don't know too much about it but isn't it bad for the environment?
