Yesterday after the T1 vs DRG match, Meteor went live on SOOP. He said all those tech pauses happened because the PCs were utter trash (Yep, the good old EMEA PCs). The reason DH was just standing still here was because he literally got blue screened and crashed. After that, he kept crashing, couldn’t log in, and had a bunch of other issues. Like, how is the biggest tournament in the world running on 240hz monitors and PCs with toaster specs??

☄️: Too many ridiculous things happened today… First, with the LOTUS pause issue—I kept saying that my PC was lagging, so we called a pause, but the tournament staff told me to just keep playing with the FPS stats on during Set 1. I could feel my PC cutting out constantly, but they still said to play. So we paused, restarted the game once, and it seemed fine after that.
☄️: The second tech pause was when Dongho (DH) suddenly crashed in the middle of a round. It was Demon1 left on their side, and we had three players alive, but suddenly Dongho’s screen turned blue. He got a blue screen, rebooted, and tried to log back in, but login just wouldn’t work. So they switched his PC, but even on the new PC, he kept getting error codes, and honestly, the game must’ve crashed like ten times. After countless tries, he finally logged in and we continued the round, but then his PC started lagging too—at first it was just mine lagging, but now his as well.
☄️: So we kept pausing after every round… It was just tough. Couldn’t focus at all. The PCs just kept cutting out!
