How to properly handle the situation

How Riot could have properly handled the situation:

1) Technical timeout, notify VK that they were using an exploit and re-do the round (Furia had a technical timeout called on them for a common exploit, idk how this one got by)

OR

2) Allow VK to move onto the Winner's match against Envy and make them forfeit the first map, similar to Giants' Punishment

OR

3) Replay the entire map

I have nothing against Acend, but if they beat Envy tomorrow, it just won't sit right with me

That's way more reasonable and fair

I agree the way this is turning out is pretty sloppy, but do they not have an obligation of consistency? VGIA and X10 both had to forfeit maps when they were punished for this exploit, in matches also in the VCT Circuit. Why would they suddenly change the punishment?

Making VK forfeit a map against Envy doesn't solve anything.
