Assuming they got kicked partly for performance I dont think its fair
Yes they have consistenly been the bottom of EMEA but its not from a lack for trying
Koi 2023 signed
- A world champion
- A masters winner
- Trexx
- One of the best EMEA igls at the time
- An inconsistent rookie
These are not some random bums to save money but a legit roster who could do damage, its like a mini super team. and they got aight results in emea at first
- Almost beat NRG
- Upset Navi
- Almost went through LCQ and make champs
Yes they lost a lot but it wasnt a tragic performance
Koi 2024 then signed
- Grubhino an insane smokes player on the second best team of emea
- Kamo legit on the best team of emea
- Kept sheydos
- Replaced one of the worst performing igls with shadow
- Kept starxo
This again does not look like a bad roster, they werent winning a whole lot but like there was clearly an attempt to improve the roster and its not like DFM or Furia where they are going winless all season
Koi in 2025
After a bad season
- Picked up the second best player eligable in ascension soulcas
- Kept sheydos and grubino
- Got filu and flyuh
After a bad stage 1
- They picked up monster, natank and baddyg all respectable players in their own right, not crazy international winners but still very good
- and got rid of sheydos, soulcas/grubhino who were struggling
like its not kois fault, they legit kept trying to innovate a roster and werent budgeting for free cash. Like Yes koi arent good but this does not justify being kicked unless there is more going on
