global esports has a decent fanbase being the only indian based org in the league, unless they promoted s8ul or something i dont see that happening
FURIA is like, not a bad org, atleast I dont think so, though theyre definitely not the fan favourites in Brazil so MAYBE i could see it happening if their bundle sales were terrible
DFM im not sure about not really versed on pacific

to be fair riot's reasoning sounded like a load of bs. koi is one of the more successful orgs in esports with a big fanbase. so either riot were lying, or it really was for performance reasons.

i guarantee you they were in a room thinking about who to kick to get gentle mates in without getting a hefty lawsuit from that org

so they took a pretty minor breach and said "You breached our contract, you're gone" to kick a org that is alright but not better than GM8

I think plat chat covered it best on the Furia topic, how is Furia always the one with insane visa issues when all the other Brazilian teams get off okay year over year?
It has to be some organisational issue, as it's a pattern atp.
But hey who knows maybe they're selling a lotta bundles, which was allegedly given as one of the reasons to kick KOI.

I'd watch ThinkingMansValo's video on it he gathers a more broad flyer of possibilities and reasons as to why KOI actually got kicked

They made it to Champs 2022 (pre-franchising but you get me)
Playoffs in 2023

Also, alot of teams in LATAM/BR face Visa issues.
KRU Almost couldn't field a full roster for stage1 due to visa issues iirc

You cant do anything to fix visa issues, you just gotta gamble the guy handling your application knows about Esports

Furia might not be the most at fault due to yes, Visa issues, but even before Trump decided to make the US a terrible place they were still not picking the top talent on Brazil, relying on the little club with favorite players.
