Surely purp0 gets picked up by another t1 team right? Unless there's something I'm missing but I 100% think he's fully fit for t1 and just got fucked by giants wanting to pick up ara. He went +29 against one of the best french teams and +16 on first interactions. Surely someone picks him up again? He's so full of potential.

JL have good chances of ascending but i think there was more to him being dropped than just ara joining, they originally had him on smokes, he was good on smokes even in t2 but i think there were rumors of some internal problem with him. tehy even had runner play the last match of split 1 just to have him off
nah he was originally their duelist, was pretty good in kickoff in terms of performances. Then the team was dogass at the beggining of split 1 and purp0 was performing quite badly (still farfrom their worst player) and botmazsy was shitting the bed masterfully on smokes. So they moved purp0 to smokes and put botmazsy on duelist hoping that he would somehow become good. Everybody understood that botmaszy was still shit so they got rid of him and got ara as their new duelist. Purp0 was fine on smokes for the first game, but he performed badly on omen on one (1) game so they got rid of him. Then for their last match of the split they gave runner a go on omen bc everyone knew he would be gone too anyway so I imagine they were just trying to see if runnner could actually be good on smokes. Maybe they had problems with purp0 internally but my opinion on it is that he got scapegoated bc the team was dogshit and pips0n wasn't able to make him perform as well as he did in T2
do you this from somewhere or is this your interpretation of the events, they made the runner sub-in sound like they are giving him a chance but from what was leaking, it was more of desperate need to fill the spot, its way better to word such a situation as "runner is getting a chance" rather than "purp0 pissed us"
