next year they really need to go back to whole region standings and just make the top 8 teams get playoffs like they did in 2023 with the top 6

i agree, but then theyll definitely need to rework the entire format.
And subjectively, i definitely wasnt a fan of the top 3 in the regular season qualling for both masters and champs and im sure some could feel the same as well
I like the 2 stages, but then this format is pretty bad as well anyways so I dont have a clear solution either

I agree, I think if you could combine the 2 stage format but make the stage 2 playoffs less group dependent it would be the ideal format

Nope, if SEN 2-1 2G they would both be in a -5 map diff, which would lead to 2G winning the round diff because no way furia are making that up

They’ll do round diff in this case, but even if they don’t do round diff 2G would be 4/9 and FUR would be 3/8, both -5 but since 2G have higher maps won they would win it
