iirc WOL was involved in a content creator event where they scrimmed teams made up of low-er elo chinese creators in order to farm views and make content, that could explain their form since they dedicated hours into the event
not just that, their management team planned a bunch of fan meetings (or medias)
Also the content creator event is bigger than you think, a lot of series were played
