With the 5 years of Valorant we've seen 7 different formats being played. (I could be wrong and there could be more)
- 10 teams straight to playoffs (Like first Masters's Rekyavik)
- 8 teams knockoff no lower bracket
- 12 teams with 2 groups and 8 in playoffs
- 16 teams in 4 bracket groups and 8 in playoffs (Mostly seen in Champions)
- 32 teams in 2 groups and 4 to playoffs (Unorthodox like Lock-in)
- 8 teams swiss stage and 4 to playoffs
- 12 teams swiss stage and 8 to playoffs
Imo so far number 7, 3 and 4 are great while number 6 kinda misses out on having more games. 2 is not optimal either without a lower bracket.
What kinda bracket would you guys prefer to see
Also Ig I forgot to mention the top 4 seeds straight to playoffs not playing groups.
