ENVY Ascension

I don't know much of the context about tier 2 so this is a genuine question coming from me. Since envy looks like the best challenger americas team rn and most likely to make ascension what does that mean for both their players, ion and canezerra who are under 18? Will they still be allowed to participate in ascension or will envy need to find subs for them

They will be able to play Ascension but not Tier 1

They can play in ascension, not in VCT if they ascend

ex: See 2G last year and what happened to spike (wrong person, mb)

The only players who have played in VCT franchising younger than 18 are "Tier 1 players in 2022 who were brought on in 2023 (iirc Zekken, possibly Alfajer as well)

by next year's stage 2 canezerra could play but ion needs to wait another year

Y'all are overblowing this 16 year old situation, Canezerra will come back before Stage 2 next year if they ascend. And no shade to Ion but there are so many cracked controller players on the market.
