t1 wont qualify to toronto and champs, thoughts?

like i said i dont think t1 qualifies to toronto and champs both, maybe they qualify through points but theres still A LOT of points left to earn for other teams so i dont even know about that!

i dont think they qualify with points
for example if boom win stage 1 (STAGE 1 BTW)
theyll have same points as t1 and if geng come 2nd geng will have 7
thats not even counting stage 2

I think they'll qual to champs with points at the minimum, highly unlikely that they dont imo

lets say boom come first geng second and drx third in stage 1
t1 will have 10 points
boom will have 10 points
drx will have 9 points
geng will have 7 points
now i know 2 of them will qualify without points so theres a chance some of rrq boom geng drx qualify through winning stage 2 but that still leaves like 3 competent teams

Yeah but even T1 at their worst will get another 2-3 points minimum in stage 2, it would require one team doing a fairly high amount in Toronto and then be good for alot of stage 2 then COMPLETELY flop in playoffs

Obviously its possible, just unlikely, like 80/20 in favour of T1 qualifying imo (Though, anything can obviously happen in Valorant)

Given that 3 teams qual to champs without points, and those 3 have high probability to have GenG and DRX at minimum, and maybe also BOOM anyway, T1 are so so likely

true i guess a team who earns a lot of points in stage 2 and toronto will probably be just top 2 so its hard for t1 to not qualify unless they completely flop and honestly apac is competitive enough for that to happen but it would be unlikely
also only two teams qualify without points this year

Yeah it kinda depends, it mostly requires T1 doing HORRIBLY and not even making playoffs in Stage 2, I think thats the condition for it (which is possible cus they will have to play Boom, DRX, GenG, PRX from the other group so)
