There's potential relegation for ascended t2 teams. But that's also the reason some people make jokes abt relegating bad T1 teams

There is no relegation as now, but every 4-year riot would do re-evaluation of 40 partnered teams (10 of each league), then they will announce the next 40 partnered teams for the next 4 years. Well i hope they change it because 4 years is too long, they should make it every 2 years, list 3 bottom teams (both performance and engagement wise) then kick 1 of them and give the other two kind of warning.

difficult to make it that frequent given the amount of contracts /legislation required etc. i’m surprised they even manage to pull off 4 years for 40 teams.
