Anything decently good really. Unless you're playing on high

well go for an AMD build

AMD ryzen 5 9600X/ if your budget is high go for a ryzen 9
RTX 4070ti(this is the max you should go imo even an RTX 4070 is good enough) or an RX 7800XT
32 GB ram(16 is more than enough if your only gaming and you can upgrade later if you need to)
SSD : idk js choose a good 7200mt/s SSD for future proofing

as for the other specs js do a bit of research and buy from a reliable brand

this is way more than enough for valo and any game you will ever play unless your gonna play with 4k at ultra high graphics and ray tracing

You can get 300 fps even with a 2060. Cpu is the most important one.

Ik but its not like valo is the only game he is going to play so im giving him an overall decent setup to play any AAA game at decently high settings

i get 500-700 on RTX 2060 and Ryzen 9 7900x3D on low settings

Yeah i build a new PC in november and thought i'll upgrade to 5000 series when it comes out but im not sure 5000 series is worth it
I get good fps in valo but havent played in 4 months
I get around 80-100 fps in marvel rivals all low settings

na tbh the 5000 series seems overkill and overpriced, the 4000 series is still really good and will drop in price so is probably the best choice

anything with good cpu power will do bro, valo is a cpu intensive game

I have a Ryzen 5 7600 (non x) and a 4060…
I get comfy 400+fps (1080p)
U can go for an am4 system, just get a decent cpu…

You can type in
Valorant (1080p or 1440p) cpu name + gpu name

You will find a rough estimate of what to expect with what u choose

my setup is a ryzen 5 7600 + rx 6600 + 32gb ram and i run val with an average of 300fps in competitive matches

val is more cpu demanding, so get a ryzen with an "x3d" at the end and youre basically good to go lol
