cause they did the same thing with the leagues of LoL, they had announced to the teams with months in advance. Meanwhile on Valorant G2 members like Mixwell and Lucas Rojo said in a spanish talkshow of Valorant that they didn't have any info about a League on Valorant yet. And riot like to prepare this kind of things with months in advance
