nah that wouldnt make sense cuz you would use 3 knives and then get back 1. This means you will only have 3 knives left which clearly is not enough.

no the nerf should have been that every time you right click you lose 1 knife, for eg: if you have all your knives and you right click and kill you only have 4 now, even if you get a kill with left click after that it will be 4, and then this repeats.(maybe you could make it lose 2 knives too)

well yeah but the aoe for raze's ult is as big as the universe in comparison with jett's knives

i would simply add a timer to it similar to Raze's and reyna's and sova's ult

Why? Heavy nerfing the dash takes away the whole point of jett and she wouldn't be viable whatsoever

I've said it in a couple replies #18 #19 but in my honest opinion the way-to-go is making jett's blades play out just like Reyna's Empress. Make it a timer and reset both knives and the timer after every other kill.
This allows the enemies to decide whether or not to let the ult run out of time or face it.
IMO this gives Jett a special position within the current meta and allows other players to decide not to take a peek.

Well I personally don't like the comparison between Jett's ult and Reyna's. Jett's abilities kit is far bigger and wider than Reyna's, making Jett the better agent overall. Removing the recharge on Reyna's ult just makes her even weaker in comparison with other duelists.
Her ability kit is already weak, only getting strong when ulting making her depend solely on precision and aim.

why not? reyna needs to hit a shot or something to get out of a tricky situation and jett gets it for free. and i think jett has the best kit so far. smokes in milliseconds and a damn good ult and updrafts to go to spots where no1 else can. dash was never the only reason to use jett. but i could be wrong.

It is kinda "aoe" because it can be heard
but you don't know where the jett is
if you know beforehand the jett is gonna e+q on you then you would escape like a raze ult as well

Dash is the defining part of the kit. Also for Reyna dismiss you need a kill to get it because you can actuallly move around in jt unlike dash

That is definitely not the solution. First of all it need a a limit of time like Reyna ult. Second of all what they have done is right, they increasing the skill cap by making you use the left click.

The smokes were unnecessary, but they should do something to the dash, maybe that you have to charge it a little bit, something like breach stun???

i understand your point, although that does not make jett's ult aoe at all, it's just sound cues to let you know something important is going on.
Popping Reyna's Empress gives a sound cue, that doesn't make it an AOE ability nor it actually is.
