It's still good for a game which is 1 year old
This happens in every game , if the finals don't have the most popular team viewership drops
I'm just happy it's not all EU and NA , other regions also have huge viewerbases

This is why SEN has to keep losing lol. Its good when new teams or unknown team wins. The viewership isn't good for the tourny but its better for long term health of the game. It was the same when tsm and t1 was dominating then suddenly lose in early days of valorant.

Iceland only had the viewers it had because its the 1st big tournament

also another factor is Valorant has a bunch of 12-18 year old bandwagoners that hop from game to game (aka not really interested in the competitive aspect themselves)
