Countering insane Jett one tricks is top priority for pro play. So far, the methods tried are

  1. Find out where crazy Jett is and don't go there ( what 100T did against cNed, and to an extent, VS did too)
  2. Pray to God that your Jett is also insane that day and can balance out ( inconsistent obviously)

Or

  1. Have an insane lurker who takes apart the opponents without facing the Jett head on

nAts has been lurk diffing every team so far

today's final could redefine strats and player acquisition metrics depending on how successful nAts is.

Edit: I might have missed a few other tactics, lmk

You forgot the method g2 used which is raze util clear a bunch of spaces, but that kinda only works on split. All other maps too big. You can also try playing double controller, so like omen/viper on some maps like breeze, Icebox, it’s pretty effective but idk if you should give up on some other agents just to clear out one player

Yes, I should correct my statement to "methods I can remember right now"

Basically adapting your entire playstyle to anti-jett could cause problems if enemy uses some weird comp like the no duelists that Liquid ran against FPX on haven in challengers 2

VS countered cNed by using breach utils and skye utils forcing him off his spot kinda different, but i get ur point.
Todays finals could go any way, but i think gambit is on a different level in terms of tactics and teamwork.

Yep that's why I said to an extent

Doing good util executes is the best but can be avoided by flexible opponents once opponents get a read on it

Like yay is as good with a rifle as he is with an op unlike someone like wardell
