In my 100% honest opinion..... the current matchups are ass

A better one imo would be:

a) Gambit vs Kru
b) 100T vs G2
c) VS vs Envy
d) Sentinels vs Acend/SMB

a vs b
c vs d

I kind of want to know what you guys think is an ideal bracket (pls don't judge me, if mine sucks just say its bad and don't grill me too much :)

I think a draw was the best way.

It would be an interesting one, but you literally matched all four #1 seed against each other same with #2 seed

this is good for excitement but they did it in a fair way, but if they wanted to make it really fair, group wouldnt matter and you just play who you draw even if it was someone from your group
they tried to mix fairness and excitement by moving a team down if they were in the same group but still doing random draws, they should just choose one: excitement or fairness

it might be better, but thats not fair because its 4 1 seeds and 4 2 seeds

gambit vs kru is already #2 vs #2 so it's a no
they could literally set a rule that quarters can't have same region and redraw

I would have loved to have seen:

Envy vs GMB/CR
VS v SEN
100t vs ACE/SMB
G2 v KRU

huh both nv and vision strikers are 1st seeds as well as 100t and g2.
This is stupid you cant have all the 1st seeds fight each other, it would just destroy the point of playing to be top of your group. This means that sen and gambit get an easier time for losing matches. Something like this is very improbable.

yeah ik. I tried to ignore seeding and match the arguably stronger teams with the weaker ones but that wouldn't honor the actual seedings and would theoretically not be fair.
