Positivity

I feel like we can be a bit more positive as a community on twitch official/ player streams and on forums. These players (Yes, even the "bad" ones) work very hard to become the best at their craft and want to succeed.

What a lot of people don't realize is that Valorant is a zero sum game. For every player like Tenz, cNed, or others who are popping off there has to be players on the other side who are dying and getting outplayed. If everyone was perfect all the time, we would never see the cool 1v2 or 1v3 clutches that make these games so exciting to watch. In order for upset and wildcard teams to rise up and go on tournament runs, there have to be teams that underperform.

In the end, all the players I see getting hate on streams, threads, and on other online platforms are really just people who want to make a living and be their best playing the game we all love. Yes, maybe X player had a few bad maps and now your favorite team didn't make Berlin, but they KNOW they didn't play well and they wanted their team to win even more than you did.

You can be sad about a loss and identify a player underperformed without needing to harass them: Your favorite team will not always win and its okay to support them and stay positive even when they fall short of their goals. In fact, destroying players mental by harassing them on their streams/etc likely only makes them play worse than if they were feeling supported by the community.

Note: I'm not saying Valorant players should be above criticism, but harassing, bullying, and hard flaming these players is just rude, unhelpful, and not going to get you or them anywhere. Even if you want a roster change, that doesn't mean you have to hate or harass the player you hope gets replaced, you can wish them the best elsewhere.

Also, not being toxic online is just being a decent, mature human being.
