Do you need good aim to be a good duelist?

I don't really think you do since a duelist job is to make space for your team and not to get kills. You can argue that in order to make space you need to get kills however your team should be helping you get those kills (flashes, stuns, etc.) and I feel like having a duelist playing bad is fine as long as they're doing their job

nah zeeecen doesnt have the best aim in the world and he was the best duelist in Madrid and the world at a point

some would say demon 1 in 2023 had better aim than aspas but aspas was the "better" duelist

i mean kind of, the main role is getting space for you team. if you do that consistently than you are technically a good duelist. However, duelists are expected to make space and an entry or 2, so someone with bad aim (e.g redgar or fenis) shouldnt play duelist since despite teammates util, it might not hit and they will probably just entry and die, not staying alive long enough for the team enter asw

As long as their spacing is good and tradable then they’re good, it’s why foxy9 on duelist isn’t great cause he’s too far ahead even tho his aim is great

I agree but if you play reyna you HAVE to get kills to get value out of your abilities. if you pick jett you're expected to hit your OP shots

Yeah there are some exceptions to what I said like using op or playing reyna but other than that I don't really think you need to have godly aim (you still need to know how to shoot back obviously)

I think having good aim and knowing how to frag, some players are natural fraggers where great aimers are typically on roles where they can play their lives more.
