EG winning champs 2023 was a fraud. They played the worst teams in their brackets, and it was just purely a bad team. Look at where the players are now, most dragging down their teams. Take Boostio for example this guy DROPPED 10 KILLS IN 2 MAPS, going triple negative, he is just so unbelievably inconsistent. The next player C0M, went 32/59, 29/43, and 32/51 going double negative most games. And if he's not lucky enough, he has Aspas dropping 50 in 1 map to save him and their team. Demon1 fell off from what he used to be and EG winning champs is just a fluke.

EG wasn't a fluke, but they had a lot going for them:

• A great system with a great coach who had great reads on other teams and great strats
• Great comps for the meta with agents that worked perfectly for all players, and a map pool that favors them
• Synergy between players and confidence in the system, so teamwork makes the dreamwork

eg is not fluke but the players don’t work well when they are not together. Only demon1 and Ethan are together and that’s why NRG is doing better than the other eg members teams
