Winner of the event Sentinels lost 2-0 to Lev ( the team that lost to fucking C9)
2nd place Geng lost to PRX
Both TH and KC lost to supposedly weaker teams

If that event were to happen right now I guarantee most of those teams won't even be able to qualify for it.

Also the quality of the games in Madrid were just very low level in general

it’s almost.. like the teams that didn’t make madrid had time to prep, practice and create synergy and fix previous mistakes.

competition is ever evolving and tough. not that hard to comprehend
