vegans counter this by saying for example: The cow you just killed also lived once, don't you feel bad?

the food chain will be disturbed if too many cows live

respectfully, why should i care about the cow? i don't really care if someone eats meat or not, but we eat meat to survive because we need the nutrients or wtv iron is. you could counter that by saying we could just eat tofu, but tofu doesnt taste the same as meat. id like to enjoy my life to the fullest and eating food that tastes good is part of that good life. also, it's not like theres a risk of cows going extinct

also im american. i love eating b0rgers 5 times a day cuz im fat

nah vegan foods and healthy foods are more expensive. Thats why so many western countries have obesity problems is because fast food is cheaper/ more convenient

"Findings
Compared with the cost of current diets, the healthy and sustainable dietary patterns were, depending on the pattern, up to 22–34% lower in cost in upper-middle-income to high-income countries on average (when considering statistical means), but at least 18–29% more expensive in lower-middle-income to low-income countries."

here in brazil atleast i think a vegan diet is more expensive than a onivore one

It is ethical

That is really the only true argument

The only valid argument imo is that vegan lifestyle is way more expensive

Just choose foods that are healthy its not that hard. You should stick to certain generalized diets. If ur being vegan because of the animals then you had way to little things to worry about when you were growing up and were born rich

there’s the nutrition route and the moral obligation route

and if you’re suggesting that meat eating is morally wrong you have to defend the idea that killing animals for sustenance is wrong
