Fps drop help!!!!!!

I am using lenovo legion laptop.Its now 4 years old.I have 70 gb free ssd and intel,nvidia 1650 ti graphic card.My all graphic settings are on low and all drivers are updated.Recently while playing valo my fps dropped down to 40 fps.And now it continuously stays at 40fps.Any solutions pls?

My friend had 1650 on his 3 year old laptop and he gets 144 fps. So I think it's an hardware issue and since it's a laptop I'd recommend you to build your own pc.

Well I cannot comment on it without seeing it. But if I had to make a guess it most probably will be either battery issue or gpu degradation. Battery could be replaced but I'm not sure about gpu.

only solution i can think of right now, is to clean the fans and replace the 'thermal paste' or whatever it is called

See if you have changed the modes in legion software to some battery mode which may be disabling the dedicated gpu and using integrated gpu, or could be thermal throttling or just low wattage being sent to gpu.
