Masters 1 messed up EU LCQ. Futbolist have clinched spots even tho they suck, while teams like NAVI, SMB, and G2 need to qualify to Berlin to make LCQ

He isnt. Why would they have points when they got signed just now? It makes no sense also G2 just didnt qualify thats it. Sure tr teams had an advantage because of masters 1 and 3 challengers finals spots but the advantage is only over top 2 and 3 cis team and over the eu teams that participated in masters 1

i dont think you should care about whether SMB is a new team, they will qualify for berlin and go really far anyway, they have a guarantied spot in the LCQ if not champions. Because the team I saw yesterday has a chance to win Berlin.

As for NaVi. The core wasn't that good before cloud joined, and they aren't as great as you may think now.

It won't matter in the end. SMB and G2 will both qualify for Berlin and automatically remove forZe and BBL from the top10 in circuit points. The only team that is not in the EMEA qualifier right now that will be left in the top10 of EMEA circuit points would be futbolist (who imo actually deserve to be there, no matter their last few matches)

So? Rise made LCQ by placing 6th in one challengers final the whole year... which is a better system than what EMEA is doing

TR and CIS masters for the same point distribution as EU, meaning that meh TR teams are still high on the points standing

It's weird... Masters 1&2 perf should be way less weighted when it comes to selecting the best teams for champions. It is what it is though, not like they could've predicted that beforehand.

The points are fair it just didnt work well because there was 3 masters. So tr teams that wouldve pöaced like 5th in emea got first in there own region

For G2 and SMB to surpass Fnatic by circuit, they need to get top-2 at Berlin (other results are not acceptable cuz won't be enough points), otherwise they will be at Champions only if Fnatic will be there too, dumbfuck system

so getting 2nd at iceland shouldn't be worth anything? i know flair checks out but that's such a weird take lol

I think 3rd-4th places at Berlin should get 355-360 points (more than 2nd place at Iceland).

Masters 2 had only 10 teams, weaker competition, and recency should also be taken into account - older events are always supposed to give less points that new ones.

it will work out when masters 1 is international LAN, just this year every team who won masters 1 farmed their own region so they got huge chunk of points.
