Why is TenZ so popular?

Is it because of how insane he is mechanically?

Is it his personality?

Is it because he was insane when the game just came out?

Imo his personality is quite boring compared to streamers like s0m, FNS, and tarik and he isn’t that funny

There is no aspect of Tenz you can hate on

it’s because of how dominant he was during the beginning of valorant. (2020-2021) and because of the first masters win. his personality is also very likable

I think it's because he isn't dislikable.

This is like asking why someone would be a Jokic fan since off the court he just wants to go home, or a Kawhi fan since he doesn't have a very expressive personality

Same reason people like shroud. If I want “entertaining” I’ll watch a TV show not a twitch streamer whose only joke is yelling. He’s cracked and laid back.

If you don't force yourself so hard to dislike him so that you feel special or something, you would also find that watching him play and his personality in general is very entertaining unless you need a kevin hart to entertain you all the time. There are different forms of entertainment and not everything has to be funny.

TenZ was a pretty popular streamer in CSGO too, his highest viewed video on YT is csgo related so that plays a part
People watch him for his insane plays that most players cant do

Its mainly cus he was the best player itw (won first LAN) early on. He was already the most popular before he won anything and got even more bandwagon after that. Same reason SEN are the most popular (or 1 of) Val org. Their early success is the reason.

he had the popular csgo clip with his mom awhile back. he was the first person who reached radiant (valorant back then) in the game, and he got pretty popular off that. and then yeah the whole thing with the loan from c9 to sen and that first year success made him really popular. but i agree, while his aim is cool and he has cool clips, hes a little bland on stream

To be honest I think most fans are because of how dominant he was during reykjavik .Like no one has been able to replicate that level of dominance.So people like him because of that.It is also the anticipation that he will be able to dominate like that again.Since no one has been THAT dominant other than Tenz.They only look forward to him to see the dominance cause it is very fun to see someone insanely mechanical and flashy dominate.Personality wise its pretty chill.Its like watching shroud.Insane at the games and pretty chill
