...the playoff teams for Madrid didn't get any championship points aside from the winner. 2nd place should've gotten 2 points, and 3rd should've gotten 1 point. They essentially have no advantage over any of the teams that DIDN'T make the tournament. Actually more of a disadvantage now that they are wide open in terms of maps and strats.

This whole championship points thing is bullshit. It should be the same as last year or even better get rid of franchising and making everything open quals so we get the highest level of competition possible in all regions!

if cs can have a thriving t1/t2 environment with no franchising im sure valorant can do the same. some cs t2 teams are paying triple valorant franchising minimum salary btw

Asia dead tho
U can't say it's thriving if another region it's not thriving
The system almost the same as football (for valorant)
They literally destroyed asia scene in 2018-2020 (CS), what's causing of this ? Yep the slot (now CS realize CS can get more money and put one more slot for asia team in sanghai major).
Korea and china invest money under riot is huge they can do anything they want tho.
Valorant is huge but small at the same time bro.
