Vanity's Move Isn't That Risky

Idk why people are so worried about C9 not making LCQ & calling Vanity's move from V1 risky

For them to not make it, Rise and TSM would both have to get 5-6th or above just to make it to a tiebreaker

As well, TSM and Rise are both underdogs (at least Rise) in their upcoming matches and are on the same side of the bracket, meaning that they will most likely eliminate each other in the Lower Bracket Round 1

If worse comes to worse, meaning that TSM and Rise both make above 5-6th place, C9 at the very least will have a tiebreaker with Gen.G for a slot

Also keep in mind that Sentinels, atm, are the favorites to win Berlin which would mean that C9, TSM, Gen.G, and Rise would all automatically make LCQ

TLDR; C9 would have to be unlucky af to not make LCQ

why do they automatically make LCQ if Sentinels wins Berlin?

Sentinels forfeit their circuit points champions slot, giving the 3rd placed points team the champions slot, therefore giving the 11th placed team in points the LCQ slot.

arent they already forfeiting that since they won Iceland? Winner of Iceland automatically qualified to champions I thought

Especially since rise is against sen round 1 and tsm has envy round one that just makes it harder to advance

no, sentinels only qualified after winning iceland because they also won masters 1 and are so far ahead in points that no two teams can get ahead of them.
