what we learned from lev and sen

valorant is so chaotic and the comms are important and that can be overwhelming

having your players speak in their second language or a mix of languages will make the gameplay weaker and less comfortable.

pancada’s english is fine for everyday use but i’m sure he struggles when he has people yelling chaotic comms at him and it takes times to register and make sense.

lev transitioning to full english for tex and c0m cannot be good either.

honestly facts, only reason why international teams work so well in CS is because it’s so methodical and repetitive

pancada never stood a chance man. i don’t blame him for underperforming in a new role AND with a new language.

i also feel for the lev guys. i wonder if they’re struggling with comms too like i’m speculating.

mixed rosters seem to hard to make work

more than speculation for sen. the comms improved significantly after pancada was benched. he speaks conversational english just fine but valorant comms is a another whole ballgame.

sucks for pancada but it is what it is. he took the risk coming to another country and learning another language.

lev though. that’s speculation on my part. i’m sure language and the mixed rosters aren’t helping their case.

I disagree. Yes, speaking in first language may be more comfortable but that doesn't translate to success (take kru/100t) what matters is having trust in your teammates and good coordination. This comes from practice and scrims which lev didn't have lot of time for. Also good igl and coaches like Potter helps

Whatever you are saying here, would only make sense if Aspas, Kingg or Mazino were horrendous at speaking English and literally it is one the simplest languages in the world.
Lev just needs to grind some more together and cook better strats and comps to be more successful on certain maps.
They mostly lots to SEN because their opponents were successful in executing a few nice strats/plays at the very end of the map. Trying to make any suggestions for them to change anything about their roster at this point of time and after what we saw, is too much.

Also literally most of the EMEA teams are made of players and coaches of different nationalities and English is a second language to them and they somehow have no problems winning the most important tournaments.
