There were many of us today who watched TSM vs FaZe and, while the game was exceptionally entertaining and downright hilarious at moments, it wasn't necessarily played in the utmost competitive spirit of the game. Not saying that's always a bad thing but can't imagine it's ideal for Riot. Maybe if the winner of these secondary stages got to pick where they went in the Challengers Playoffs bracket instead it would be better?

idk how they should fix it. Tournament should be played at best no matter what. Maybe increase price pool?

one solution is that first place gets to pick first who they play, then 2nd place gets to pick, then 3rd, and so on

Exactly! I mean no matter what Rise would've gotten Sen but it I feel like it would certainly create some drama with whoever TSM picked! I mean the winner are obviously going to pick the team they think is the weakest. (Edit*: Also, I'm sorry if someone else has posted this idea before!!!!)

Idk how picking your matches would be fair to the teams the other 4 teams that qualified before TSM, Faze, LG, and Rise.

Seeding matches, while boring and not played to the highest level, is probably the most fair way of deciding matches in a tournament.

why not remove seeding matches and seed based on match stats?

yea firstly seeding matches should be banned from betting
and secondly, allowing teams to choose their bracket in order of placement isnt fair for teams that qualified beforehand.

They should follow korean bracket where you stop at round of 8 and 4 winning teams just qualify. Then bracket is drawn from random box.

tldr: get rid of placement and draw bracket from box
