Is 60 fps playable? I tried playing dark souls for the first time and the fps was locked at 60. Its so lagged for me, its like 10 fps and so much tearing.

You definitely don't feel any smoothness if your fps is below the refresh rate. Still playable but not as smooth.

Fps needs to be equal or more than hz. If you play 70 fps on a 60hz monitor it is gonna be smooth but if you play 70 fps on a 240 hz monitor its gonna be awful.

your monitor trying to show at 240 Hz but GPU only rendering 70 fps which means you can see the frame drops when it lags. for analogy, it's like running 720p on a 1080p screen it's a downgrade

Immortal in a trash 60hz laptop Sadge so yes it is but its not a good experience u get destroyed sometimes just beacuse of the reaction time diff
