Last Chance Qualifier

Okay, so I am getting more and more confused about how the VCT system works.. if I understand correctly all teams get a certain number of VCT points based on how well they do. How are the teams chosen for champions determined and how many teams go through the last chance qualifier for champions from each region?

You get VCT points for Masters 1 and the Final Challengers stage for 2 and 3, which scale based on placements. Only ranks 3-10 of highest VCT points can get into LCQ.

idk about the other regions but for NA top 10 teams in circuit points are guaranteed lcq, top 2 qualify straight to champions, which would be sentinels and another team, and the other 8 go into the lcq in which only one other team quals for champions

I am going to describe it in the NA region, as it's a bit different depending on region.

Here are the current points standings in all regions. Sentinels after winning Masters 1 and 2 have enough points already to make Champions no matter what even if they don't make Berlin.

Places 1 and 2 auto qualify for Champions in Los Angeles. Places 3-10 will qualify for a tournament where the winner also qualifies for Champions. 2 teams from OCE will also qualify for the LCQ and compete against the NA teams.
