MY OPINION
If you are iron, and you have been playing for a couple of months, let’s say you only played unrated and swift plays until lvl 20 and then only comp, and you’re level let’s say 50-80, fps isn’t for you. You could argue that this is for bronze. I see so many people in iron-bronze being level 100-300, coping and saying their teammates suck or that deserve a higher rank. Am I cooking or not?

the concept of "isnt for you" is weird tho, if you arent a streamer or a pro player all it matters is if you are having fun

Sure but I mean trying to competitively rank up while playing a shit ton of ranked and being bronze or iron doesn’t make sense. You can play for fun but I see so many people blaming it on their teammates and saying that they deserve a higher rank. Unrated is there for a reason.

yeah but usually these kind of people are only bad addicts, probably not having fun at all so they dont fit into my comment

I think you're cooking to a partial extent.
If you're level 100-300, complaining all the time about your teammates, and still iron/bronze, then yeah might as well stop wasting time on a game you aren't good at/aren't enjoying.

If you're somewhat new to fps game/Valorant, and get stuck in a lower rank for a while, I think it's alright to continue playing. Ranks like Iron and Bronze are excellent for building up your basic skills, but are quite difficult to get out of (smurfs etc). But I don't think it's too much of an issue, especially if you're having fun. Some caterpillars take longer in the coccoon phase than others.

Ultimately, games exist to bring fun and entertainment to people, and I think that if you, regardless of rank, genuinely dislike playing the game, be it due to teammates or your own personal skill or whatever, then just stop playing.

When I started playing I was stuck in Silver for a long, long time. I took my time learning my basic mechanics and by the time I got out of Silver, I was riding the high tides of ranking up. But of course, everyone is different.

I mean iron is a rank where people usually are because they’re new to the game. If you are there, your teammates will usually rank up very fast if they care a bit. If you’re stuck there and just try to improve, but cry about you’r teammates, valorant isn’t for you. If you don’t care about anything and play for fun, you have unrated. I feel like iron is 60% new players, 2% smurfs, 38% people who just are hard stuck but can not care to improve

Yeah! That's something I agree with and also something I covered in my first paragraph, sorry for the confusion! I know for a fact though that some people will choose competitive over unrated simply due to the stakes involved.

I legit don't know how people can be in iron for more than a month. It's cancerous. Don't play comp if you've been stuck in iron for that long. Yes, 1 month is gud enough for complete new players. BuT iF YoU aRe hAvInG fUn wHo iS tHerE tO sToP? Yea no, don't play. Do something else for fun.
