I'm going for RX 6700XT + Ryzen 7 5800X with 32gb RAM(DDR5 5200mhz) .
Target : 1080p 300+ fps on low graphic settings.
Is this setup enough, again my build is completely focused on val (and maybe similar games like cs2) so I'm only going 1080p but I was higher framerate. Will this build be enough? Or do I need better specs?
Also how will this setup hold up if by chance I wanted to play some new AAA games with higher requirements (still on 1080p)

What do you mean? Literally completed building a PC a couple of days ago and bought that exact ram (2×16GB 5200 mhz ddr5)

tbh, last time I built a pc was 7 years ago, I didn't even know ddr5 was a thing yet.

5800x is cool but IMO get latest gen AMD processor and mobo, it should be future proofed for like 5 years
also the ryzen 7 series gets more out of your DDR5

i have a 7900 iirc and get like 800 fps on 1440 so a 7700x can push easy 300 but also if you ever upgrade monitor it can do 500+ fps if

there's no difference in performance bw 7600x and 7900x in gaming, just plug in any relatively modern gpu and it will be enough for 1080p 360hz, I have stable 550-600fps with 3060ti+7600x.

yeah I do projects outside of gaming you can get more fps from the lower threaded higher clock chips like 7700x

You can't run ddr5 with 5800x btw, you need 12th gen or newer Intel or Ryzen 7000 series for ddr5.
