Why was XSET sought after?

Why were the XSET players sought after 1 lucky champions run. Aside from BCJ the rest of the players were in discussion of getting into good franchise teams. They were having consistent shitty performances for like 2 years. Then the FNATIC players Enzo and Mistic were out in t2 despite them having a similar run like XSET and they've been doing fine for a couple of years. Is it because NA overrates players.

Cryo was the 2nd best Chamber in the game and Zekken was a upcoming flex player, no one wanted bcj, dephh only was picked up bc of sykko and aryin went apac idk what hes waffling about and that XSET Team beat Prime optic

i won't lie, xset as a team always faltered when it really matters, they were a good team in general but they never really did anything noteable, that's why they were never noted, it's pretty simple

its an easier gamble to get players with considerable international lan experience, and last year, at least in na, they were the second best team.
