No, I haven't. My great-grandmother is of European descent and I have never actually been abroad. I wanted to study abroad in the U.S. during this summer vacation, but I was too busy studying for the entrance exam and didn't have time to do so.

I definitely recommend going to the US at least once. I don’t know if I would recommend living here, though. I’ve been pretty sheltered my whole life, but even I can tell things are getting chaotic. It’s kinda one of the reasons I want to live in Japan, actually. The high level of respect for others is something I wish was ingrained into US culture.

I see. I often hear that prices are high in the US. And now that the yen is weak, I will go there when the time is better.
If you live in Japan, I can teach you a lot! Although your family seems to know a lot about it

The prices are rising for sure (ironically Dollar Tree is now charging $1.25 😂). I also noticed a small price increase in Japan as well (most crane games no longer had the 500円 for 6 tries deal 😔). I’m actually curious about the workload for students. How is it in Japan, I guess in terms of stress?
