what is going on in PL

I'm seeing two different games where they win because of stupidly long extra time. 90+8 90+10 90+11, why are they adding so much time on???

im sure this doesnt happen in ANY of the other leagues so why is PL like this?

They use the Qatar WC method (so they counted wasted time more accurately, but resulting in long ass matc).

Just like the world cup they trying to recover more time possible that was lost because of all the stops they had during the game

a poor guy got a red card at 14 mins on added time.. surely this is not the answer.
