Hey fellow VLR.ggers,

I wanted to share my personal journey of how quitting Valorant completely transformed my life, and I hope my story can inspire some of you who might be in a similar situation.

A little over a year ago, I was deep into Valorant. I had reached the Immortal rank, poured over 750+ hours into the game, and it had taken over my life. At first, it was thrilling and fun - the competitive nature of the game was intoxicating. But as time went on, I started to notice a dark side emerging.

Valorant had begun to affect my mental health and personal relationships. I was becoming increasingly irritable, and the game was responsible for my anger issues, which I would sometimes unleash on my girlfriend. I found myself prioritizing it over everything else, neglecting my responsibilities, and even my own well-being.

Then, one day, it hit me. I realized that I had allowed a video game to control me, to the point where it was negatively impacting my life in significant ways. That's when I made the difficult decision to quit Valorant for good.

The change was profound. As the hours I used to spend gaming were redirected toward self-improvement, I rediscovered the things I loved outside of the virtual world. I picked up hobbies I had neglected, started exercising regularly, and rekindled my passion for reading and music. Slowly but surely, I felt a sense of calm returning to my life.

The most significant change was in my relationship with my girlfriend. As I distanced myself from Valorant, I was able to address my anger issues head-on. I sought therapy to understand and manage my emotions better. My girlfriend noticed the difference in me and appreciated my commitment to self-improvement. Our relationship grew stronger, and we found ourselves in a much healthier and happier place.

Today, I can confidently say that quitting Valorant was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My life has improved in so many ways. I'm more in control of my emotions, I have healthier relationships, and I'm genuinely happier.

If you're in a similar situation, where a video game or any other addiction is negatively impacting your life, know that change is possible. It might be difficult, but it's worth it. Take that first step towards a healthier and more balanced life, and you'll be amazed at the positive transformation it can bring.

Thanks for reading, and remember, there's a whole world out there beyond the screen waiting for you to explore.

i was having fun at the waterslide when suddenly i noticed a big shadow covering the entire pool i looked up and there i saw him, Ardiis. He was coming straight for me, he jumped into the pool and the velocity of the wave that followed knocked me unconcious.

When i woke up i was chained in a cold and dirty room and there he was, streaming the popular shooter game VALORANT on Twitch while talking to his chat, somehow he managed to say the word "bro" 254 times in just 3 sentences how is that even possible?? I quickly realised that the chains were actually made of chocolate, confused (and mainly hungry) i started licking and sucking them as fast as i could and managed to crawl out of the room -that i presumed was probably his mothers basement- while remaining unseen.

I searched around the house for an exit and i quickly found the front door. As soon as i exited the building i saw a horde of angry Brazilians holding blowtorches and pitchforks chanting at ardiis and calling him a racist and a loser. I didn't really care so i tried to get out of the scene as soon as possible but just as i was about to step out of the house, ardiis put his enormous hand on my shoulder and whispered with a soft and melodic tone in my ear "You're not going anywhere pumpkin pie" and "Daddy's gonna take care of this swifly". He stepped out of the house and suddenly yelled "WATCH THIS" as he flamboyantly dashed into the air and suddenly made 5 knives materialise around him. He used the knives to effortlessly tap every single brazilian in the area.

I was so afraid, blood was spilled everywhere. When it all was over ardiis looked in my direction and i knew that it was over, if they didnt stand a chance, then i wouldnt either, so i just gave up. Ardiis started walking
in my direction each step making the ground shake. When he got to me he just sat down on me saying that i got cold and he needed to warm me up. After a while he took me inside the smelly basement again and took his clothes off. He started smelling me and licking my ear, and then he suddenly got very embarrased and told me i can just leave.

Turns out that this was a huge misunderstanding, this whole time he thought that i was a chocolate egg and he wanted to eat me. The disappointment on his face when he realized the mistake he had done was palpable, a tangible testament to the depth of his sorrow.

I saved big boy ardiis and this is my story.

You know, I know. We all know that NRG lost to BLG on group stage. Well, truth to be told, and Ardiis if you're here, let's come clean now, enough of hiding the hard cold truth to everyone especially the fans. The reason why NRG lost is because of Ardiis. Why? Well look at this photo, https://twitter.com/Demon1___/status/1696216303319883910?s=19 it's Demon1 standing on the desk right? Well if NRG actually tried; they would win Champs 2023 easily. So if that is the case then Ardiis would be the one standing on top of the desk, but unlike Demon1, Ardiis is not as light as he is and would fall and embarrass himself because he was too heavy, the desk would not be able to support ardiis and would fall and break the desk. Everyone in LA would laugh including famous celebrities such as Elon Musk, Ben Affleck, Karmine_Orgy_Whisper and Tyson Ngo; an embarrassment infront of this kind of a crowd is too embarrassing and would cause Ardiis to get dropped. I knew all of this so I'd already warn Ardiis and NRG about this so they intentionally lost to BLG twice for Ardiis' sake. He also gave me a thank you note that says "Bro, thank you bro, bro I appreciate you so much bro for doing this bro, you saved my life bro, you are my hero bro."

Hey femllow VLR.ggers, Im wamnted to sharem my persomnal journeym of how quimtting Vamlorant complemtely tramnsformed my limfe, and I hope my storym can imnspire some of you who mimght be in a simimlar simtuamtion. A limttle over a year ago, I was deep into Vamlorant. I had reamched the Immortaml ramnk, pouremd over 750+ hours into the gamem, and it had tamken over my limfe. At first, it was thrimlling and fun - the compemtitive namture of the game was imntomxicating. But as time went on, I startemd to nomtice a dark side emergimng. Vamlorant had bemgun to amffect my memntal heamlth and persomnal remlamtionships. I was bemcoming imncreasingly imrritable, and the game was remsponsible for my amnger imssues, whimch I woumld somemtimes umnleash on my girlfriemnd. I foumnd mymself priorimtizing it over emverything emlse, nemglecting my remspomnsibilities, and even my own wemll-beimng. Then, one day, it hit me. I reamlized that I had amllowed a vimdeo game to comntrol me, to the poimnt wherem it was nemgatively impamcting my life in simgnificant wayms. Thamt's when I made the dimfficult demcision to quit Vamlorant for goomd. The chamnge was promfound. As the hours I used to spemnd gamimng were remdirected tomward semlf-impromvement, I remdiscovered the thimngs I lomved oumtside of the virtuaml world. I pimcked up hombbies I had nemglected, startemd emxercising remgularly, and remkindled my pamssion for reamding and mumsic. Slomwly but suremly, I felt a semnse of calm remturning to my limfe. The most simgnificant chamnge was in my remlationship with my girlfriemnd. As I dimstanced mymself from Vamlorant, I was able to amddress my amnger imssues heamd-on. I soumght therampy to umnderstand and mamnage my emomtions bemtter. My girlfriemnd nomticed the dimfference in me and amppreciated my commimtment to semlf-impromvement. Our remlationship grew stromnger, and we foumnd oursemlves in a much heamlthier and hamppier plamcem. Today, I can comnfidently say that quimtting Vamlorant was one of the best demcisions I've ever mamde. My life has impromved in so many wayms. I'm more in comntrol of my emomtions, I have heamlthier remlamtionships, and I'm gemnuinely hamppier. If youm're in a simimlar simtuation, wherem a vimdeo game or any omther amddiction is nemgatively impamcting your limfe, know that chamnge is pomssible. It mimght be dimfficult, but it's worthm it. Take that first step tomwards a heamlthier and more bamlanced limfe, and youm'll be amamzed at the pomsitive tramnsformamtion it can brimng. Thamnks for reamding, and remember, therem's a whomle world out therem beyomnd the screemn waimting for you to emxplore.

everyone has fun in different things , platformers and open world games are a way to relax your mind by immersing yourself in a new world, where competitive games are more of a challenge to your capacity for mechanical and sense skills in a different sense.

at the end of the day, he is just saying don't let it consume you. you can play valorant as much as you want, but it shouldn't be the center of your life.
